All 2024 dog licenses have expired: Get your dogs licensed today if you have not already done so.  The fee is $12 for an altered dog and $23 for an intact dog.  Residents can use the drop box for payment; please include a copy of the current rabies certificate and a self addressed stamped envelope so the tags can be sent to you.

Town Board Vacancy Supervisor 1

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Onalaska, Town Board, Supervisor 1 seat became vacant July 23, 2024 due to resignation of Supervisor Jerry Monti. 

Town of Onalaska residents interested in filling this vacancy for the remainder of the current term ending April 2025 are requested to submit a letter of interest/application to the Town of Onalaska, Town Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer no later the 12:00 noon on Monday August 5, 2024 at N5589 Commerce Road, Onalaska, WI. 

Letters will be reviewed by the Town Board and Town Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at the regular monthly Town Board Meeting. A qualified candidate may be selected from the applicants and if so, an Oath of Office will be administered.

Seasonal Weight Restrictions: 2025 seasonal weight restrictions will be imposed on various Town and County highways effective March 7, 2025. Posting will begin at 7:00 am and weight restrictions will become effective as soon as the signs are in place. Signs will be placed at various intersections advising the public that weight limits are in effect for the roadway. PLEASE WATCH FOR THE SIGNS!
