La Crosse County Data Center Study Committee
La Crosse county has an 18-month moratorium on data centers and has formed a committee to learn about data centers and the impacts to the community. The moratorium was passed in July 2026, and the committee is made up of five county board members and one elected official from each town, village, and city in the county.
Meetings are at 5:00 PM on the Wednesday of the La Crosse County Committee week in the county board room 1700 at the Administrative Center, 212 6th Street N, La Crosse, WI, 54601. Public are welcome to attend in person or via zoom, but there is no public comment on the agenda.
